Kagoshima Seika Co., Ltd. had a predecessor company.It was the Marusho Seika Boueki Co.,Ltd. established in 1948, that began trading in fresh fruits and vegetables essential to the diet of the local people.

The following year, the company obtained a wholesale market license from the prefectural governor at the Kagoshima City Central Market, and in 1951, the company name was changed to the current Kagoshima Seika Co.,Ltd.

Since our founding, our primary mission has been to provide a consistent supply of the fresh produce that consumers want.

We mainly collect a wide variety of vegetables and fruits grown by producers all over Japan, with the discerning ability cultivated by daily experience, while grasping information about producers in the production area and customer trends.

We always take our responsibility as a wholesaler seriously and use auction sales, relative trading and other transaction methods to ensure fair and equitable wholesale sales.

Through fruits and vegetables, we serve as a bridge between producers and consumers, transmitting the energy of Kagoshima from the local area to the whole country.

We will also continue to contribute to the local community by supporting children in Kagoshima through nutrition education activities.
